Manifesting Stress

I'm SO tired, I thought, my schedule sucks this week!

As I drove all over God's creation doing last-minute errands, shuffling my kids to T-Ball and soccer, making sure our clothes were clean for our trip to Holland, I was plum-tuckered out...and stressed out. 

My husband had to go out of town for business up until the day we left for Holland. 

Here I was, racing around town "getting things done" for this amazing trip our family manifested, yet, I was cranky with all the things that had to get done before we left.  

What happened to the excitement and gratitude I had only days prior when we miraculously manifested the trip?

What I became aware of was that I had celebrated this manifestation for about five minutes and then I allowed myself to sink into the stress of the tasks that had to get done before we left, rather than staying within the feeling of gratitude....

....and that choice caught up with me in the form of stress.

I chose stress for myself and that energy showed up in my day.

I chose a line at Walmart, which ended up not being the line one would want to be in.  The lady needed a price check. The wait got longer.

I hit every red light in the town of Laguna Niguel.

I ran behind in picking my kids up at school and felt myself sweating as I ran up the hill hoping their teachers were running late in letting them out of the classroom.

My stress created more stressful circumstances in my day.

I came to this awareness and did the one thing that melts it all away....

...I took a breath.

I realized my actions and went to back to gratitude.

I reminded myself that the busyness I was experiencing came from an amazing miracle in my life.

I decided to go back to the gratitude of that miracle.

I remembered the feeling of when it manifested in my life.  

I remembered the excitement.  The laughter.  The genuine gratitude I felt to Spirit for working out the

details of this trip to Holland...

...and then another miracle happened....

....the stress melted away.  

A smile reappeared on my face.

The sweat went away...

...and joy came back into my day.

The miracle of choice was evident again.

I chose joy and then another miracle...

....everything got done.  A miracle, indeed, and then...

....we landed in Holland one hour ahead of schedule (when does that happen in travel now-a-days?)

It does when one chooses joy and allows Spirit to  lead the way.

Today, I choose joy and give thanks for all the ways it shows up.  

I'm in the Process of Manifesting the Impossible

Since we are in the midst of the Commitment Experiment, I thought it might be good to "experiment" with manifesting something BIG on this blog...out loud.

Be bold. Put my intention out there and be vulnerable.

I'm making my intention known, will be up front about my actions and will be honest about the manifestation.

So, here it is:

My father-in-law passed away a couple of weeks ago in Holland.

The family is having a celebration of life for him on November 9th.

My mother-in-law offered to fly my husband out, but couldn't afford to fly myself and our two boys out.

We all want to go for the celebration, however, the money that is coming in now covers are basic necessities and paying over $5,000 for this trip doesn't seem feasible...at this moment!

I know we will manifest this trip and here have been our steps so far:

1. We had a family meditation last night and this morning.  I guided my husband and kids to see us in Holland.  To visualize our family around. Laughing, running, and feeling the palpable energy that my in-laws generate when we all get together.  When they saw and felt the experience strongly, I asked them to ask, "How did we get here?"  Then, we all shared the answers our intuitions gave us.
2. We created a check from the Universe (thank you, Juli Isola) for the amount that we need to have a great time, and of

   course, left the option for "more" to come to be received with gratitude.
3. We placed the check on our energy altar each blessing it with a kiss and the affirmation of "Thank you, God, for this already being so."
4. I made an appointment at the passport office for next week to have my kids' passports renewed.
5. I have assembled all the documents we need for the passport renewals and know that the "proof of travel" (the paid airline tickets) will be included in the folder by the beginning of next week.
6. I prayed, affirmatively, this morning knowing that this trip is already done.
7. I prayed yesterday, with my prayer partner, Amy, about this trip.

And now, I let it all go and allow the Universe to do it's part.  That said, I'm not going to deny ANY prayers should you be compelled to affirm our highest and best good for manifesting this trip!

UPDATE!!!!  Before I could publish on this post, my husband called with a "Holy sh*t" moment.

He got a call from his boss who had good news! A million dollar property they had been working on finalizing had finally been completed.  She was calling to say that his commission would be to him by mid to end of next week.

GUESS HOW MUCH IT IS?!?!  $5,200.

Hence, the "Holy sh*t" moment from my husband.

Steve, my husband, explained the situation of our Holland trip and before he could finish it, his boss said, "You need your commission earlier!"

"Yup," said Steve.

His boss answered, "I'm actually on my way to the bank right now...."

(Of course she is, I thought)

..."I'll deposit your commission directly to your bank account so you can get your tickets this weekend."

Now, you may think, yeah, right! She knew that was going to happen.

I did know it would happen because of my faith and I recently learned that faith is made up of three parts, expectancy of the outcome, emotionally feeling the outcome, and action steps towards the outcome.

I had all three in motion.

What I didn't know was how it would come about, yet, I was open to the infinite possibilities of manifesting this trip.

Here's the interesting thing:

The property just happened to be in negotiations (for a while I might add), the negotiations just happened to be finalized today, and my husband's boss just happened to be on her way to the bank.

We couldn't make all that happen!

The trip was already done in the spirit realm.  The Universe was already creating the events to create it in our physical reality.  We simply had to bring our energetic vibration up to the level of vibration of the trip.  We did that with our action steps.  We showed the Universe we were willing to receive.

And now we will.

Hod damn! We're going to Holland!

Manifesting at 4am in San Clemente

It was something I used to do and while it was truly profound it somehow made its way to the backburner. I was religious about it. It was my favorite part of the day.

My "4am Hour of Manifesting" was replaced with childcare and sleep deprivation, a brief seasonal imbalance.

But that time has passed. The baby is a toddler and a nice solid sleeper at that. Keep her up one more hour at night and I have my precious morning time back.

I feel like the kryptonite has been removed from my immediate vicinity.

That magic early morning time to have a cup of coffee, journal, stare off into space, reveiw goals. It always centers me for the day.

Some pretty amazing manifesting happened at 4 am. It was a really creative time. I can see the cause and effect looking back.

• I really wanted to see my brothers together, in the same room. I actually crossed it off my wish list because it was truly in the "snowball in hell" category. But it happened.
• I wished to make an addition to our family. After 5 years of "infertility" Kate happened.

And its strange because it doesn't seem like much and yet it can move mountains. You feel like you aren't doing anything but then you look back and see the path.

Taking time to get quiet and listen whether that means meditation or listing to music, taking a walk in nature or spacing out to a cup of coffee.

It's that time to plug into the infinite of it all.

Can a Toyota Commercial Teach Us About Manifesting Our Dreams?

How many of us have wishes, desires, dreams? 

How many of us really know how to ask the Universe for them? 

 I saw a Toyota commercial this morning and it reminded me of how literal the Universe is in it's "granting our wishes." 

But first, knowing that our "thoughts thicken into things," (thank you for that quote, Dr. Heather, my teacher at CSLCV), how we think helps the Universe to give us exactly what we "wish" for. 

If we are not aware of what we're "wishing" for, we just may be "granted," the very things we DON'T want. 

For example, we constantly think about how broke we are, and never seem to escape this challenge. 

Well, because we constantly think that, the Universe "grants" our subconscious wish." 

We hear of friends or family who are sick with the flu and keep thinking how we don't want to get the flu, yet "know" we're going to get it because we're surrounded by it, then say, "Yup! I was right!" when we get the flu. 

How often to we manifest the very things we DON'T want.  

What if, it were just as easy to manifest the very things we DO want? 

Well, honey, you're in luck, because it IS! 

In the Toyota commercial below, let's pretend the genie is the Universe. It has a wand and says, "OK!" to all your dreams, goals, wishes, AND non-wishes!  

It gives an emphatic "yes!" to everything you put your attention on!

So, the lesson here is to be very careful where you set your attention, because, you will get exactly what you do set your attention on!

How do you change where you thinking is?

Be aware of it.

If you notice your thoughts sticking on the "flu," quickly, let it go and affirm, "I am ultimate health and energy."

Your work is done and the Universe says, "OK!" (and then, we can picture it waving it's wand sending ultimate health and energy to you!)

It's a Universal law. It works....just like gravity. You don't question gravity, do you? Then don't question this. If you do question it, then by all means, test it out and see what happens when you make the effort to shift your thinking!

Stay aware and keep your Universal genie waving it's wand granting everything you WANT!
