My Time of Celebration!

This Easter season represents purification, illumination, mastership… And an awakening to re-Birth and resurrection! Hooray! -Rhonda Maria Farrah

Still experiencing and expressing that most Powerful Easter Celebration of yesterday at our Center...Rev Heather's wisdom, the Inspiring and moving music of our own Jewel Tones Choir, God's Presence in us, as us, all throughout the members of our community...is where I AM as this week begins.  Thank You, Spirit God for that...as the blustering wind, rain and a biting coolness in the air brought with it some chaos for me by means of some old past fears and doubtsl  Wow...I thought that I had released those.  Guess I took them back.

And as I went through those sad and pain-filled feelings and emotions, I called upon the Spiritual tools and message of yesterday's service.  I went with my GodSelf...and not merely the earthling in me. I was reminded of Rev Heather's words and invitation to Identify MySelf With What I Want.  Sadness and pain, slowly, but surely, were replaced with a Peace and Joy...just as the clouds parted, and sunlight showed up.  Thank you for that, as well, God!
My time of Celebration for rising above the lower self and giving full expression to the true Christ energy...Consciousness. It is the time of full and true communion with my GOD Source. As I impulsively resurrect my life, I focus on my healing and transformation… a time to resurrect the Feminine from the darkness into Light!
If there is something in an area of your Life that just did not turn out the way you had envisioned, please consider that Spirit God is telling you that it likely  did not match your dream...that which was in Your heart of hearts.  IT is also telling You that IT has something BETTER and more worthy of You.
Something, Someone, Somewhere better is coming! So...GET EXCITED...NOW!

I invite you to consider… The cross you may be bearing is the opening to your awakening to a Life of Purpose… The Life that you Truly Desire!

Identify Yourself with What You Want, Easter Sunday Service

Today I am transformed by the renewing of my mind. I roll away the stone of negativity, fear and doubt to reveal the risen Christ consciousness within me. It is a beautiful day, morning has broken, and I celebrate my eternal life now. And so it is.

Good Friday Re-Imagined

This blog will post on Good Friday, March 25, 2016, the day that Christians around the world will be mourning the brutal death of God's son, Jesus. His family and friends were in deep morning on the Friday. And we mourn for all beings brutally murdered knowing that each one is made in the image and likeness of the Perfect Life of God -- we are all God's children.

Although Christianity has kept the cross as its symbol, the true symbol should be the empty tomb! The true meaning of Easter is rebirth and eternal life. The good news that the women shared that Easter morning is: "He lives! He lives!"

It came to pass.

These are profound words of wisdom. Things come into our lives, difficult things, challenging events, disappointments and betrayals and all of them came to pass. Not only did it come about but every current situation will change. It must change for that is the nature of life.

If you are going through a time of challenge, open up to the message that "it came to pass." If you are going through a betrayal, remember Jesus' powerful words from the cross, "Father, forgive them for they know not what they do."

Can you forgive the unforgivable? Jesus taught us how. So did the Dalai Lama. So did Viktor Frankl. Let's practice opening our hearts to those who have broken them.

Good Friday is a great time to remember to forgive deeply.

In my life remembering that the people who have hurt me, abandoned me, disappointed me or left me, did it because they did not know who they were. They did not know that whatever they did to another, they did also to themselves. This is the beauty of living in oneness. There is only one of us. "I am you, you are me, We are one."

Have a profound and sacred Good Friday and Easter.

How To Celebrate Life This Springtime Even If Everything Isn’t Perfect!

The unsettling conditions…economic and otherwise… and  events that surround us today are overwhelming, at times, to say the least. War, terrorism, poisoned environment, new strains of dis-ease. Economic, political, and ecological nightmares, all plagues of biblical proportions. Yes..Who really feels like celebrating?

Yet, here we are…in possession of the great gift of Being alive… Embracing the priceless Gift of Life!   How do we dare not to celebrate? I ask you and yours…How can we not gather together in joy to honor our connection, our communion, our Essence with Source…with Spirit…with GOD…NOW?  How dare us not to reach out to embrace each other and to appreciate the bountiful Blessings of breath… and food, shelter and love? It would be like spitting in the face of Life not to celebrate it.

All we have in this world is our Life. We owe it to ourselves, the lucky ones, the privileged, the living, to be very, very thankful to be alive in this Magnificent…yet, challenging world. We owe it to those whose lives and livelihoods have been upended… or, perhaps, ended altogether, to honor their presence and their impact on our life and times. We owe it to the entire complicated universe to live our precious and priceless life with full consciousness, conscience, Awareness, and compassion.

And… we owe it to Life itself to wake up each morning with gratitude and retire each night filled with reverence and awe at the mighty miracle of it all, humbled, to have been even an infinitesimal part of the wonder, the wisdom, the intricately woven web of existence.
So, what’s stopping us from celebrating life…from embracing It as a priceless gift, regardless of situation, circumstance or event?  Anxiety is perhaps the answer to that question, as well as the culprit to sabotaging to Living the Life we Desire.  You know…we worry about the future…that which has not even happened yet, and we become anxious…which is hardly worth celebrating.  The Peace of remaining in the present moment is a Celebration in and of Itself!

Now, safely on the other side of 50, several years ago, it seemed like a good time to  set myself a major challenge as I face my next half-century. And here it is… to be rid of that marked trait…anxiety. It has served its purpose, right there when I needed to be extra cautious, or to worry about a person I loved. But, more often, anxiety had caused needless worrying, even suffering.  Yes…been there and done that. And so, I brought my relationship with anxiety to an end…and refer lovingly to anxiety as my “ex”.

I know it is not as easy as just saying so. Anxiety is like a virus that lodges for life on sections of nerve fiber innervating the skin. Perfectionism is its perfect host. You must hit the home run or not play at all. You must answer every question correctly. Deliver the speech flawlessly. Execute the business plan exactly. Perform in bed spectacularly. Sleep eight hours without waking. Anything less… less than perfect… and you risk a meltdown.

If over-worrying has always been your default mode, it’s time to stop being sucked into the eye of an unseen hurricane. It’s a new Season…and, a reason… a time to Celebrate…To BE re-birthed, resurrected, resourceful, and resonate with LIFE!  To Thrive, rather than merely survive!

And…that  worrying remains a valuable lesson.  Rack  up enough worrying episodes… learn to manage them… and you see a pattern emerge. Anxiety itself is not going to kill you, any more than a sleepless night does. But it makes life so much less enjoyable. The things that do kill you are far less ambiguous, like brain tumors, heart attacks, Alzheimer’s, cancer, suicide, car accidents. You see these take friends and family members and gradually, almost without noticing, you find yourself worrying far less about things going perfectly, or about minor mistakes in your wake. You cut yourself some slack. You are glad to be still going….and thoroughly realize what a Celebration Life is!

I have learned firsthand that the flip side of anxiety is excitement…and, both are fueled by the same neurotransmitter. One can therefore choose to view anxiety as positive rather than destructive. In this, I take a cue from the Swedish director Ingmar Bergman. In his autobiography, “The Magic Lantern,” he wrote that depression per se was not his thing (as one might expect) but instead it was anxiety. He called it “my life’s most faithful companion, inherited from both my mother and my father, placed in the very center of my identity, my demon but also my friend spurring me on.”

Although  anxiety and I remain acquaintances, what Bergman called a friend, I refer to as my “ex”.  Still, I recognize that we must coexist. And if this is so, I expect something in return; it shall serve as my most effective motivator — the sense of aliveness that gets me out of bed, to my desk, anxious to work. Indeed, without some anxiety, I would not be here right now, writing this  blog… searching for the “perfect” words to describe it.

Ultimately, I have had enough experience with anxiety to sense when it may turn destructive. My strategy is to call it out on the proverbial carpet when it surfaces. As it starts to crest into a wave that threatens to turn tidal and take me under, I take a step back on an imagined beach: “Hey! You!” I silently yell. “I see you coming.  Bye for now…and thanks for stopping by.” I take a deep breath. I stand my ground. The wave begins to still, the swirling winds die down. Something lifts. I dive in soundlessly and Celebrate.

I invite you to join me, and live the life that we have, while we can, as best as we can… and appreciate and celebrate every minute of it. L’ chaim!, the Yiddish toast, “To life!” recognizes and salutes life in all of its fullness and complexity. It celebrates all of it… the good, the bad, and the ugly… for all we really know that we have is this present moment.  Of this, I AM certain!

How beautiful and brave we human beings can be. Though fully cognizant of our mortality and the perils that surround us, we gamely keep on continuing on.  Yes…ever trying to make things better…. Making the best of things…. Living as if it mattered…because IT does, and we can! May we sing like no one is listening, and dance like no one is watching, ever spinning toward perspective, acceptance, compassion, wisdom, and grace.  Our Magnificence…our birthright!

May we be walking, talking, living celebrations. Yes…L'Chaim!

Don't Bring Me Down, Sunday Service

The Power of the Mind is my power. When I fully understand this, and practice this power in all of my affairs, the quintessential question becomes, "What experience do I want to have? What experience am I creating today?" I have the power to make it happen! And so it is.

Your Responsibility to Thrive

Many of us were raised to believe that having our good would deprive others of their good. We were taught that we live in a world of limited resources. It may be true that the natural world has limited resources, but the creator of that world is unlimited. It seems to me that when we are living a principled life, we also need to remember to live a life that is an example of prosperity. I do not mean waste. I mean prosperity. I mean abundant living in every area of life.

What would prosperity look like in the area of  health? Do you know what you want? Before I started studying these principles, I often could answer what I DID NOT want. I was very clear about it. It was usually a long list of issues, problems and thinly-disguised complaints. I did not want to be sick. I did not want to struggle with debt. I did not want to have a spouse that couldn't be trusted. I did not want problems in my career.

Eventually I learned that the Universe cannot hear the word "not." It was as if I had been commanding the Universe to bring more of the things I did not want. When I look back at the results in my life, I see that there has been a perfect correlation between what I focused on and what came about. The more I focused on not wanting betrayal, mistrust, lack, poverty and deception, the more of it appeared in my life.

Finally, I learned to truly think about what I would love. I learned to focus on what I love as if it were happening right now. My heart was filled with gratitude and joy! Then my life started to look like I was living in paradise. (Of course, we ARE living in paradise now!)

How often do you ask yourself, what would I really love?

This is the greatest, most powerful question anyone can ask: What would I love in the area of health? of relationships? of creative expression? of time and money freedom?

Once you have asked the question, listen to the answers. Write them all down. Some you might discard because upon reflection you don't really want that, but other things will surprise and delight you. When you have some awareness of what you want, write it as if you have already received it. Write it with energy and conviction.

It might sound something like this: I am so happy and grateful now that I am committed to honoring the health and well-being of my body and mind. I sleep soundly and  deeply; my sleep is restorative. I eat wholesome, nutritious foods in moderate amounts. I love to move my body and getting 10,000 steps a day is just a start. I get great joy from the many ways I am learning to keep my joints flexible and strong. I am so grateful for my toned body and smooth healthy, radiant skin. My real age is 20 plus years less than my biological age. there is a song in my heart and a smile on my face. My spiritual DNA is perfect, whole and complete. I am so happy to be alive now.

I am so happy and grateful now that my life is filled with love. I am so blessed to work with amazing, creative people who work in harmonious support of one another. I am so happy for my friends, old and new, with whom it is a joy to associate. I love hanging out with them. I love sharing fine meals together and I love celebrating them. I am so grateful for my sweet beloved intimate partner, who came into my life exactly at the right time! We love being together, every moment is one of joy!

I am so happy and grateful now that my ministry makes a huge difference in people's lives. I am grateful for the countless cases of physical, mental and emotional healing that have occurred by means of my prayers, my connection with Source. I am so happy and grateful for all the new ways I have been guided to make a difference in this world. I am so grateful for the wonderful beings who support our ministries, and that every ministry is flourishing! I am grateful for the energy of Spirit that moves through me each and every Sunday! I am grateful for the ever-increasing number of students who have sought me out to study with me.

I am so happy and grateful now that all my businesses are booming! What a joy it is to be financially free and able to contribute my financial wealth toward the advancement of Spiritual Living everywhere.

I am so happy and grateful now that my spiritual practices are continuously deepening.

And so it is!

Pure Joy! I am so happy & grateful being kissed by a Shepard!

Spring Is In The Air! Have You Got the Fever…Yet?!

“Then you should say what you mean,' the March Hare went on. `I do,' Alice hastily replied; `at least - at least I mean what I say - that's the same thing, you know.'”
-  Lewis Carroll

Yes…Spring is in the air…right around the proverbial corner…and what better time…or excuse, if you really need one…to start celebrating Life.  We must start celebrating our lives TODAY…If You dare!  How’s about IT?  Has Spring Fever hit you just yet?  Start making time each and every day to do something special to celebrate YOU -- all of your magnificence, your special gifts and talents, every unique thing that makes you who you are. Don't wait another moment, begin now…BE in the Love…NOW!!!

In “scientific terms”, Spring Fever is defined as the time when many are filled with an increase in energy, vitality and sexual appetite. How many of us can say that you have experienced such? In addition, why may you ask does the search for love seem to run amok with Spring Fever?
It is my opinion that most of us are constantly looking for love. With increased energy, that search for love is multiplied. Many people will do just about anything to obtain the love they perceive they are missing.

However, are you really lacking love?  I have a dear friend who is a shaman and spiritual advisor. One of her most prolific …I Believe…quotes is, "We are all part of the whole and not separate." Under these circumstances, everything is within, including love. Therefore, considering her statement, it is impossible to be alone and unloved once you realize that you are part of everything…including our Higher Source/Creator/Spirit…GOD!

If you are searching for love…and many are, as the Spring Fever bug seems to be circulating… might it be more productive and beneficial to allow that love to come from within? You just might discover that you never were alone and unloved.

Ok…ok…ok…here me out for a moment or so!  While many people connect a fever with being ill…sickness… there is actual scientific evidence that supports the physical and psychological symptoms that go along with the arrival of Spring. Melatonin is a natural hormone that influences our sleep and energy levels. During winter months, a person's melatonin is high, whereby one wants to hibernate more. However, as Spring advances, the hormone is reduced by more daylight hours…Daylight Savings Time has arrived…have you noticed?

For me, Spring Fever is an oxymoron. Why would I say that? A fever implies that we are sick. However, to spring implies forward movement. If we are sick, how can there be forward movement? As shown above, spring fever is an actual scientific phenomenon, and not a sickness.

But, what if we look at the term from a spiritual point of view?  Consider this…All of us sometimes go through sickness…those trials, tribulations, challenges, struggles, and just plain less than desirable situations, circumstances, and events when our life seems to be in default mode… in the form of adversity before we may have that aha moment that allows us to turn, redirecting to a more beneficial direction!  Therefore, in these terms, one would have to conclude that there is forward movement.

Yes…Spring Fever may be upon you. You may be in the midst of some kind of turmoil…especially in these shifting, often unsettling times…including the search for love. However, I invite you to realize…to Truly know…that the fever will eventually break. You can feel better soon. Love is obtainable as it is already there within you. You can rise up fully refreshed!

I both invite and challenge you to ask yourSelf …What actions you are taking to ensure your spiritual health…especially, by realizing…and knowing…the Love…along with a few other Blessings…that you may seek is an inside job?  Are you Celebrating everyday because you can?  That’s where Love begins!  Of this, I AM certain!

As I finish writing this, it's nearly Tuesday.  YES…Time to celebrate!  Will you join me?
I NOW invite YOU to Celebrate LIFE…Let’s Talk …with Your 30 minute complimentary Consultation!

Much Love & GOD’s Blessings!

Decent or Unprincipled

Viktor Frankl, often said that even within the narrow boundaries of the concentration camps he found only TWO RACES OF PEOPLE TO EXIST: decent and indecent ones. (principled or unprincipled.) These are found in all classes, ethnicities, and groups
What an interesting statement! There are only two races. From this perspective, the practice of being inclusive becomes radically difficult especially for the decent, principled race of people. How do we knowingly embrace those without principles? How do we see good in the person whose greatest passion is to incite hatred and division?
Is it possible for people to exist without any principles? I think everyone has principles. It is easy for me to relate to people who value the things that I value. It is easy for me to relate to people who are good neighbors, who are honest, trustworthy, and open-minded. But how do I include the people with different values -- for instance the people who believe in white supremacy? or winning at all costs? or cheating as a way of life?
In the oneness of life, I remember that each one of us is made in the image of the Divine. Each one of us has tendencies toward both the darkness and the light. And the Truth of us is that we are spiritual beings having a spiritual experience in a three-dimensional world.
So a question is
Which am I most of the time? Am I the dark or am I the light? Decent or indecent? principled or unprincipled?
There is a teaching story about the inner struggle that we have making right choices, or taking the easy way out. The story goes like this: "A boy confided in his grandfather that he felt he had two wolves within him. The dark wolf was vicious, reactive, snarling and dangerous. The other wolf was beautiful, friendly, helpful, and playful. the wolves seemed to be competing with each other for the boy's attention He tearfully asked his grandfather, which one will win?. The grandfather wisely and tenderly responded, "The winner will be the one you feed. It will be the one you appreciate.
What that story says to me is that we need to be able to notice where our attention goes. If our attention is being drawn to fearful, hateful thoughts, we are feeding the unprincipled wolf. If our attention goes to loving, compassionate thoughts, we are feeding the principled wolf. Then the unprincipled people are simply being less skillful in their communications than principled ones.
The universe reads our attention as intention. the universe is always bringing forth form from consciousness. Which forms do you want to see manifest in our world?
A practical application of these ideas is to bring your fascination to ideas of beauty, love, truth and connection. Refuse to give bullies, bigots, fear-mongers one more second of your precious time. Learn to watch the news as a prayer request. that way you will be detached. If you are a practicing Religious Scientist, you will not give any power to the conditions. You will remember that conditions are effects. The cause is always an idea -- and an idea can be changed!

Decent or indecent-- you choose!

How Do I Experience The Presence of GOD In My Life…NOW?!

“The cosmos is all there is, or was, or ever will be." –Carl Sagan

So…I thought I would take Rev. Heather up on her invitation to answer the question…once I asked it of mySelf…”How do I experience the presence of GOD in my Life now?

The short answer to that question is, How don’t  I experience the presence of GOD in my Life…Now?  Although I AM reminded that one must never answer a question with a question, I’ll begin there.

My experience of the presence of GOD…in me, as me, through me…begins even before my first conscious breath upon awakening to the day of New Beginnings, miracles and magic in every area of my life.   My experience of GOD is really and Truly all there is.  It’s the start of my day by setting a clear intention…It’s my Spiritual practice-that morning routine and ritual…which includes my Gratitudes, my silent  contemplation where I turn “it” all over to GOD…not to mention, but I will…my affirmations in the mirror.  And…IT…that experience of the presence of GOD in my Life continues all throughout my day…with every thought I think, every emotion I feel, every word I speak, every action I take…with everyone I meet…because I Know that you will agree…It’s all GOD!

Some of the highlights of my experience of the presence of GOD in my Life include the following…
  • The birds singing to my morning Prayer Treatment
  • The waves crashing as I take my morning run
  • My daughter, Amanda’s, voice over the phone, across the country, as we talk…then, turning the phone over to my precious 2 year old grandson, Baby James
  • The smiles of those I meet all throughout my day that cause as Big a smile from me
As well….at times, throughout my Life, the challenging and chaotic times…those times of sadness for me… represent the experience of the presence of GOD in my Life.  For IT is, indeed, for me both a great comfort, as well as wisdom in Trusting…in Knowing that the worst of times is actually producing the Best in me…in each of us.  That turmoil and struggle can and will facilitate getting to that Best by magnifying that which we need to see…the lessons which may choose to learn (perhaps yet another time around)…that when confronted with turmoil, struggle, and challenge, we choose Hope over hopelessness…no matter what the turmoil, struggle, and challenge happens to be.

It is then, that the presence of GOD in my Life serves to release me from my perceived, self-imposed restrictions, reminding me that I AM Divinely guided I AM!  Trust and Believe…I Know!

In closing…”God is the beginning and the end, and our experience of God is that which goes between.”  Robert Bitzer, The Creative Word, said that…and he was right!

Yes… GOD is all there is…Including ME…Including YOU!  Of this I AM certain... I AM!

AND SO IT IS…NOW!  AMEN & AMEN…NOW!

I NOW invite YOU to Celebrate LIFE…Let’s Talk …with Your 30 minute complimentary Consultation!

Until then…To Our Health, Well-BEING & Empowerment Together!
Much Love & GOD’s Blessings!
Rhonda

No need to Jump through Hoops

Do you have a belief, either conscious or unconscious, that you need to meet certain criteria to be spiritually acceptable?  Many of of were taught that there was a God somewhere judging our every action and thought! He was particularly interested in our sinful, perhaps lusty thoughts. Then at the end of your life you would be judged as being good or "not good enough" to enter into Heaven. That version has several flaws.

First, our Creator would not give us desires and then judge us for the very desires He created in us and then judge us for using them. It would make God mean-spirited, petty and unforgiving. That might be creating God in our image! Or someone we might know.

Second, heaven is within. We are already in it and do not have to earn it. We simply need to choose it.

A mean-spirited God  is not the kind of God I believe in.

I believe in the God of Love. The God who was crazy in  love with Itself, who couldn't stop Itself from making me and you in Its image and likeness.

I believe in a God who is beside Himself with Joy, doing the Snoopy dance all day long. Wherever the Divine Gaze rests, beauty  springs forth.

I believe in a Creator wild about the colors that he has created. I envision Him at play in the hoar-frost of winter, the new cherry blossoms in spring and the gorgeous autumn colors.

A mother's love for her young is God's crowning glory, His "piece de resistance" I see the Creator in the hummingbird who built her nest right outside my front door, in a scrawny bush, but still with enough camouflage her babies would be safe. She sat on the nest until two little hummingbirds were ready to fly!
Mother hummingbird well hidden

I believe in the kindness and goodness of all people.

Recently I moved out of the home I have been living in for four years. I was greatly blessed by kindness from others. I am thankful for all of them. I am thankful for the planners who laid out my new home and organized my existing furniture in it. I am grateful for the fast -thinking packers who simply were in the flow of doing, never stopping simply moving forward. I am grateful for the methodical packers who measured twice or three times and cut once. I am grateful for the Window Guy who replaced screens for me because I felt it was the right thing to do. I am grateful for the hauling and sorting. I am grateful for my cleaning women who look after me so well, seeing with eyes filled with compassion for me. I see God in each one of these beloved. I see the evidence of the Divine. All of it is Love in action and I am greatly blessed. I see that there never was any need to jump through any spiritual hoops. My good, just like the baby hummingbirds' good, is at hand. I am choosing heaven today!
