Listen to Your Inner Voice
This month we have been featuring the creativity of members of our community and what a wide variety we have! Have you been going to our Facebook page to check out the variety of artists that we have? If not, now is a great time to do so. Of course, I remind you that the art that is featured represents only a small sample of the artistic endeavors in our Center. In addition to gifted photographers, painters, jewelers and teachers, we have a host of musicians, singers and song-writers. Our wonderful member Juli Isola has been posting the artwork on our Facebook page. She is an amazing artist herself.
Where does all this creativity come from? Well, it comes through each person as the individualized expression of the Divine that he or she is. Since there is only one Life, one causative impulse, why are these creations so different? I believe that we are individualizing the Creative Process through our unique talents and abilities, perceptions and context.
There may be a creative expression in you that is just waiting to blossom.
You may feel drawn to take up a new form of creative expression or re-visit an old one. What I know is that Spirit in you is timeless and is simply awaiting direction from you as to which direction to go.
In high school I memorized a stanza of Thomas Gray's epic poem, "Elegy Written in a Country Churchyard."
I remember feeling the sadness that not all talent or beauty is discovered.
The stanza is:
Now is the time to let your light shine. Listen to the inner voice and express yourself. Live out loud.
I do not have any artistic expression to share with you but I wanted to share one of my favorite photographs by Juli Isola. Juli let me use this photo for a presentation I was doing on Faith. She captured it in this photograph.

We Are, One Race
Don Kindred, the publisher of the San Clemente Journal writes in the current Journal:
I thought it was an appropriate and timely message. I was very grateful that our Center had been featured in the current San Clemente Journal.
Senior editor, Ann Batty, wrote a lovely article about our Center in that same magazine.
She was interested in us because she heard we were 'healers.' And indeed we are healers. The basis of all our healing is the idea of oneness: "There is only one Life. That Life is perfect. That Life is God's Life. That Life is my life now." When we see life as an opportunity to be curious about each other, we create bridges of understanding and peace.
As many of you know, I was recently with family in Canada for my mother's funeral. After the funeral, family gathered to break bread together and to connect. I was so heartened by a conversation I overheard between my two nephews -- one a high school social studies teacher and the other a salesman. Usually the salesman is known to be a joker. The salesman was asking how the teacher handled difficult subjects in his classroom -- of race, or privilege or violence, etc. The teacher was very passionate about free speech and how important it was to have conversations with each other about our differences without resorting to violence. He also said that he knew that the teens who were talking were usually regurgitating what they had heard at home, not necessarily their own original thinking. When he finished speaking, he apologized for monopolizing the conversation. His cousin, assured him that he (and all of us) benefited from the teacher's experience and was grateful that the teens had someone like him to listen to them and perhaps moderate the debates between students with differing views.
I was proud of the maturity and wisdom in these two young men. I have lived at great distances from both of them, and doubt that any of my philosophy or values have rubbed off on them, yet when it comes down to it, human beings are all in this together. And life matters.
The conversation would not have happened if someone, hadn't been curious enough to ask questions. We are all in this together.
"We occupy these spaces for only a fraction of time. But our lives are important, not just as individuals, or families, communities, or states and countries...but as humans.
We are, one race."The title of his message is "Life, Matters."

Open To The New!
“ Kind words are worth much and they cost little. ” -Proverb
With the passing of our beloved father, George, who made his Transition to join our dear mother, Aynesse, in Eternal Union, I AM so very touched, and grateful for the immense love, support and respect of all who have expressed their sincerest condolences... As well as their kind and heart-felt words for both my mother and father.
We are not solitary creatures. We want to be part of a group… With people around us who are supportive and nurturing… Similar to us in values and interests.
Look at your life today and think about who your true friends are. Let them know you love them. Cherish them. Make some time to make some memories with them.
Today…I invite YOU to follow your heart… And truly Know that you are not alone!
I dedicate this week's blog post to my parents, George and Aynesse, together again, celebrating 59 years of marriage today. Happy Anniversary Mama & Daddy. We Love You!
You cannot change anything in your life with
intention alone, which can become a watered-down, occasional hope that you'll
get to tomorrow. Intention without action is useless. -Caroline Myss
Let’s take a moment this…as often
as possible…to realize and manifest…to demonstrate…our Magnificence. Yes… The Magnificent Beings we are
individually, as well as, collectively.
I offer this Guide to going Within…and
identifying and awakening that Authentic Power within each of us…that remains
waiting to be utilized for our Highest and Best Good…our Purpose…NOW!
Fear
and doubt hold on to the past. They know only what used to be and what was
desired. They know what worked before and what did not. They know what other
people have done.
What
they do not know is how things are Right now… what Newness is surrounding You…
what possibilities are sparkling around You that have never existed before this
very moment. On this, they are completely ignorant.
And
since Life is Change and Newness, this is exactly what You need to know…to
access. Nothing is ever the way it was. What failed yesterday could succeed
today. What was a success yesterday could be a failure today.
All
is Change. All is New… Every moment creating the next moment… all flowing out in
Newness and Discovery, in this great adventure of Life.
Yes…Open
to the New.
Use
the Knowledge and Wisdom that You have accumulated over the years… use Your
talents and skills, of course. But leave behind the old views of what is needed
to make Your way today, for it is not necessarily the same as what worked for
others and worked earlier for You.
Go
deep, deep into Your Center. See the flame that burns there… the Light of Love.
Let that Light expand… and expand… until IT clears Your body and mind of fear
and doubt. Let IT glow within You until You feel cleansed and new… until all
worry and anxiety are cleared away from Your body and mind.
Ask YourSelf:
How
shall I approach My Life today?
How
shall I approach this particular person… this situation?
And
be open to the answer… if IT comes in words or pictures… in feelings or in a
flash of Knowing. Write IT down… for the impression may fade over time.
Use
Your intuition and Your Connection in this way… reaching above and beyond the
narrow confines of fear and doubt, into the wider reaches of a deep Connection
with all that is.
You
have the ability to Know… at whatever way Knowing is communicated to You, all
that is at this moment and all that is likely to be.
So
pay attention.
Remove
the blinders of fear and doubt and look around.
Look
around at what is. Look around at what is needed and how You can Serve.
Raise
Your attention up into Your Highest levels and access the Guidance that is
there for You.
Your Higher Self and the
Universe GOD are ONE.. and at this level, Your Success and Welfare are deeply
Desired. Everything You need to reach state of Grace is made available to You
in every moment.
Everything You are
intended to do… and BE… is there surrounding You and deeply within You.
Everything is Known and You can access all of this Knowledge.
Use Your Intuition! Use
Your Faith! Use Your ability to Connect through meditation and contemplation.
Tap into IT all and the steps before You will light up... and Your path will be
made clear!
Then... just take a deep breath... fill Yourself with Love and Faith... and step
forward...NOW!
And
So IT IS…Now!!!
To Our Health, Well-BEING, and Empowerment Together!
Much Love & GOD’s Blessings!
Rhonda
PS: Today will bring you a new awareness, a lesson or a manifestation that you are making progress – IF YOU KNOW IT! No matter how large or small, please recognize it and be Grateful. Hey…It only takes a moment to pick up the penny… and will AUTOMATICALLY put you in the Flow of Positive Energy and Goodness.
"There is a mighty Power within you. There is that Spirit of Life, Light, and Love. The more you feast on these ideas and fast from old corrosive ones, the closer you experience the Life you desire." -Frank Richelieu, The Art of Being Yourself

Celebrating Beauty, Nature Art and Aesthetics
Our theme for August comes from Centers for Spiritual Living Global Vision. "We envision a world which has renewed its emphasis on beauty, nature, and love through the
resurgence of creativity, art, and aesthetics."
It comes from our Organizational Design Model which is a "visionary and philosophical guide and governing document for our organization's expression internally and outwardly in the world. The Organizational Design Model is offered in the spirit of collaboration, innovation, creativity, and forward thinking. It is designed to create an organization for Centers for Spiritual Living, that is effective for, and reflective of, a 21st century spiritual movement."
I had a conversation recently with one of my dearest friends who was gently questioning whether our intention of having a world that works for everyone is "off principle." Her point is that each of us is experiencing in the outer world exactly what we have come to expect in the inner world. In other words, we already have a world that works for everyone. She was asking how I could imagine a world that works for Isis' extremists. I can only imagine that if the extremists from any religion got in touch with their founder's intention, they would see a bigger and more inclusive philosophy than is currently their mission.
I KNOW my friend is accurate AND regardless of extremists and haters, I envision I world at peace. A world at peace is a world that works for everyone from my perspective.
For years we closed with "The Peace Song" which stated, "Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me." Just because there isn't peace now and some radicals don't want peace, is no reason not to pray for world peace in our lifetimes. we conclude Wednesday's Wisdom by singing "Imagine" usually along with John Lennon. We sing with conviction, "The world will live as one." Just because we have not yet achieved, perfect unity and peace is no reason to stop envisioning it.
Just because I may not be able too see the beauty around me or to feel the love or to appreciate nature, there is no reason fro me to stop working toward it.
We do our work first in consciousness, then we learn to take appropriate actions that support our desires. What those actions are will differ from person to person.
Meanwhile, please join me in moving ahead with optimism and goodwill, towards our vision. Look for evidence from our artists and artisans that we are currently enjoying a resurgence of creativity, art and aesthetics.

Unlocking Your Greatness: Sharing Your Gifts, Shining Your Light and Impacting the World
Within each and every one of us dwells seeds of greatness.
These seeds have been deposited in our spirits long before we made our entrance
onto this earth. We've been placed in an environment with more support than we
will ever need.
This includes the abundant sun that shines gracefully upon
us, the powerful earth that spins beneath our feet, the oxygen that peacefully
fills our lungs, our sacred hearts that beat, our incredible cells that divide
with harmony, and the atoms that fill all things crackling with the Infinite
energy that dwells within all things.
Being supported beyond measure and filled within the Divine
Itself, it baffles my mind to think of the countless people who dismiss the
seeds of greatness that rest within them.
This is apparent by asking the average person if they enjoy
their job, asking people if they feel like they are living up to their
potential, or if they feel like they are truly sharing their greatness with the
world.
Unfortunately, over 2/3rd's of Americans dislike their place
of employment. The average debt per household in the States equals about $135k.
With people reaching to the outside for fulfillment, acquiring more things in
hopes to fill the inner void where their dreams are meant to blossom, the
majority of people overlook their greatness and settle into lives of
mediocrity.
I know from my personal experience of allowing someone's
opinions to outweigh my own, comparing myself to another person and following
an average path for my early adult life, that suppressing our greatness soon
pushes negative emotions of anger, stress, and unworthiness to blossom in our
inner garden.
While the past is the past and what we've done cannot be
reversed, we have an opportunity in this moment of now to honor the seeds of greatness
that lie dormant within our spirits. In fact, there is no better time than now
to share the uniqueness of who you are and use your light in a positive and
empowering way.
As we recognize and honor the seeds of greatness within, we
then can move into the dark realms of the world and be a light of peace. We can
use our infinite energy and finite time in a way that can not only make our
lives more enjoyable and fulfilled but can add to the overall well-being of the
planet and our fellow brothers and sisters we share this experience with.
Looking back at history it is apparent that all the people
we look up to, whether it be a spiritual person, a leader of peace, or a person
who helped the less fortunate, they used their time and energy to unlock their
seeds of greatness and shared this greatness with the world.
Being that these seeds are already within us, all we must do
is step forth and be the person who we know we are here to be, the Light of the
World.
Unlocking Your Greatness
It is nearly impossible to unlock your greatness if you
don't believe you have greatness within you. Life is a mirror that reflects
back at you what you are thinking into it. Therefore, if you allow false ideas,
negative thoughts and unworthiness to fill your inner temple, you will
construct barriers and walls of limitation that lock your greatness in place.
As you open your consciousness and center your heart on the
truth of who you are, a child of the Infinite, you begin to honor the
uniqueness of you. Further understanding that there have been innumerable
events that have aligned with precision and order to allow your life to be.
Standing upon this foundation of truth and giving yourself
permission to be the person you believe you are here to be, you start to see what
is possible for your life. Honoring your time and directing your energy in a
way that aligns with your unbound potential you transform your very existence.
This is not done by a snap of a finger or some magic
formula, it is done moment-by-moment, day by day, thought by thought.
As you cultivate your gifts and share your light, you not
only assist in recreating your experience, but you impact the world at large.
How To Unlock Your Greatness and Share It
You can unlock your greatness with ease and grace, peace and
joy, powerfully and peacefully. Over the past 2 years, I have been using a
guide map uncovered through deep study, mentors, and universal truths. This
guide map has opened the door to allowing me to speak at over 70 different
places in the past year. This includes giving a TED talk, empowering students
and speaking at spiritual communities across the nation.
This guide map opened the doorway to be featured on Rev.
Michael Beckwith's radio show and be called one of the emerging spiritual
leaders of our world.
I have shared this guide map with hundreds of people and watched
as individuals have given themselves permission to unlock their gifts and step
forth into their greatness.
This guide map I am speaking of is a workshop entitled,
Unlock Your Greatness. I am grateful to share this workshop on August 14 at the
Center for Spiritual Living Capistrano Valley after service.
You're Invited To The Unlock Your Greatness Workshop
If you'd like to make the last 5 months of 2016 the best
they can be and know there are specific gifts you'd like to share with the
world, you are invited to attend.
If you catch yourself looking out into the world at the
chaos that swirls across the planet and are called to be a light of peace, you
are invited to attend this workshop.
The truth is that it is you and me who have been appointed
at this time to step forth and be the light. Your life is valuable, your gifts
essential and your energy can transform the seeming darkness into an endless
array of light.
Join me on Sunday, August 14, as we collectively bring our
minds, hearts, and spirits together to be the change we wish to see.
Be great.
Peace. Happiness. Compassion. Respect.
