Reflections

What a year 2017 has been!

It has been a year of endings for some of us, beginnings for others.

I am reminded of a song, "Everything Must Change."  If things don't change there would be stagnation and death. Intellectually, this is not a difficult idea to grasp, but emotionally it is hard for most of us, especially if those changes were unexpected or not according to our preferences.Often when there are changes in our relationships, our finances, our careers or our health, the changes are generally regarded as losses. (We often don't even notice the positive changes!)

It feels tough to lose a friend... or to end a relationship... or to be downsized out of a job... or to be replaced by a younger, prettier, more-desirable model in any area of life.

At this time of year, I am reminded that in nature there are answers. The changes of the seasons are more subtle here in southern California, but they are there. The deciduous trees have lost their leaves or the leaves have become brittle and dried up on the branches.  Some of those leaves remind me of the part of myself that resists change. They just won't let go. Gardeners cleaning up the soil are really preparing for lush new growth in spring. Winters  do not last forever.

The poet Percy Shelly wrote: "If winter comes, can spring be far behind?"

This is such a great reminder that everything must change and ultimately everything is for the betterment  and greater expression of life.

As spiritual seekers, we are called to view everything, expected and unexpected, as the evidence of the presence of God. We are called to trust that some greater good is always becoming known and present. Even the great good that we are experiencing is ushering in newness. Can we be observers of our lives with joyful anticipation? Can we notice the changes without judging them as unsatisfactory?

We recently experienced Christmas and many of us gave and received gifts. Part of my joy in giving, is seeing the receiver's pleasure! I can imagine the angels clapping their hands in delight at my unconditional acceptance of what is.

When you give up your good for the greater good, you are proving your trust in the Divine Mind, the unconditional love.

This is a great time of year to consciously choose how you are going to view your life no matter what, as a brand new year is just days away. My intentions are:

  • to say "yes" to life no matter what
  • to be rigorously honest and persistently kind toward myself and others
  • to look for the good and praise it
  • to take full and complete responsibility for my life just the way it is
  • to stop whining, explaining or justifying
  • to quit pining for what is not and what will not be
  • to consistently and joyfully plant seeds of greater good for my body, mind and spirit
  • to recognize that God is the Source of all good and that good is at hand
What are your intentions for the new year?

Prosperity Plus for You and Me

I love great prosperity classes. Whether I am the facilitator, teacher or student these classes inspire me. My life changes and improves. I am more aware of what I am grateful for. I am more aware of the current abundance in my life.

One of the best prosperity teachers I know is Mary Manin Morrissey. She is clear, compelling and authentic. She has proven these principles in her life and shares her experiences and struggles. Mary is  a gifted story-teller. Within her stories are gems of transformation.

I will be facilitating Mary's course, Prosperity Plus II: Harnessing Your Invisible Power beginning June 20 for 10 weeks. There is still room in this class and I highly recommend it.

Mary uses Chinese bamboo for the symbol of this course. Chinese bamboo is an interesting plant. After planting the bamboo seed, if you take really good care of it the first year, carefully watering and fertilizing it, it grows one inch. It continues to grow one inch per year for four years. Then in the fifth year, if you take good care of it, it grows an amazing eighty feet in just six weeks. What exactly has it been doing for the first four years? It has been developing a strong and powerful root system, ready to support its massive growth.

In the student guidebook, Mary writes, "Our dreams are sometimes like Chinese bamboo. We may nurture them for what feels like a long time with very little signs on the outside that anything is happening. And then, continue to nurture our dream with patience and persistence,  declining to be discouraged, it is as if overnight, everything comes together and we find ourselves living the very life of which we dreamed."
The course is an experiment in more expansive living, giving each student the opportunity to experience new levels of abundance in every area of your life.

The first thing we get clear about is what would we really love. You will be invited to think about what would you love in terms of your health, your relationships, your vocation and your time and money freedom.

There is room in the class and materials available. Call the Center today to reserve your spot. Our number is 949-240-6463.

We Live in an Abundant Universe

Abundance of Apricots

Directly in front of my kitchen window is an apricot tree reminding me of the Universal presence of Spirit's abundance. She has so much fruit that she is constantly releasing fruit which by morning is covering my backyard. This bounty would feed a family of four all winter if one knew how to make preserves. I bring some of the fruit to my spiritual Center to share and there is still plenty to enjoy and to share. (One of my neighbors asked if she could have some, I joyfully agreed, but if she took any there was no appreciable  difference to the tree or the yard when I looked the next day.)

Of course that is nature's way of replenishing itself. The seed in the middle of the fruit could produce another apricot tree until there was an orchard of apricot  trees. I see evidence that birds and other creatures are feeding on the fruit as well. And by that design the birds would take the seeds and drop them in soil or the mice would take their prizes and bury them in their nests.

To me this is the nature of life. The universe is abundant. We have access to infinite ideas which have infinite potential to bring good into our lives. Nature is bountiful and knows it. Nature gives generously confident that there is always more to give.

So I can actually use the prosperity of apricots to remind me of all my other blessings. I am going to consciously give thanks for the goodness in my life and celebrate it. Every time I pick up an apricot from the ground I am going to affirm that  I live in an abundant universe, and consciously give thanks for all the good I have already experienced. Then when I pick apricots to share and to enjoy I will affirm that "it is the Father's good pleasure to give me the kingdom." I am reminded that I cannot out give God. I will give with love because I do love to give.

Where do you see abundance today?

The Vow of Prosperity

When you think of someone living spiritually, do you  think of someone living in poverty or someone living in prosperity? Old ideas about money, taught many of us to believe erroneously that it was holy to be poor. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Do you have an idea that a holy man looks like this?
Or could he look like this?
"It is right that we should be successful, for otherwise the Spirit is not expressed. The Divine cannot lack for anything and we should not lack for anything  that makes life worthwhile here on earth."                                                                                                                                   Ernest Holmes
We have erroneously believed that the Bible says that money is the root of all evil. What it actually says is:

"For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs."          1 Timothy 6:10

If our purpose, here on earth, is to express the most good that we can, to be more God-like, then that good would include prosperity.

It is time to make a commitment to living well, to living in right relationship to your Source. Since we are made in the image and likeness of God, we need to accept all good as being worthwhile.

Let's write a vow of prosperity. Let's declare that we renounce all lack, all negativity, all separation. We know that God is our Source and only good comes from God. We have more than enough in a Universe made in His Image. It is in Daniel Nahmod's beautiful song.

EVERYTHING I HAVE IS YOURS

The beautiful lyrics in the song, Everything I Have Is Yours, are a blueprint for living a heavenly life. Hear these words as a message of love from the Universe to you and come explore this song further with us this Wednesday night, September 24th at Center for Spiritual Living Capistrano Valley at 7:00pm.

EVERYTHING I HAVE IS YOURS

AND IT’S HEAVEN, WHEN YOU ARE CLEAR
BUT TO STAY THERE YOU, HAVE TO BE HERE AND NOW
YOU HOLD THE KEY TO EVERYTHING
BUT WHAT WILL YOU DO

WHEN YOU HEAR THE ANGELS SING...

EVERYTHING I HAVE IS YOURS
EVERYTHING YOU SEE IS MINE
ALL THE TREASURES OF THE WORLD
ALL THE BEAUTY THAT YOU FIND
ALL YOU GOTTA DO IS CHOOSE
ALL YOU REALLY GOTTA DO IS DECIDE TO ACCEPT IT INSIDE

YOU PICK YOUR LIFE, IT’S UP TO YOU
I GIVE YOU ALL, WHEN YOU GIVE TO EACH OTHER
THOU ART MY CHILD, I AM IN THEE
SO WHY ARE YOU EMPTY WHEN YOUR LIFE IS FULL OF ME

EVERYTHING I HAVE IS YOURS
EVERYTHING YOU SEE IS MINE
ALL THE TREASURES OF THE WORLD
ALL THE BEAUTY THAT YOU FIND
ALL YOU GOTTA DO IS CHOOSE
ALL YOU REALLY GOTTA DO IS DECIDE TO ACCEPT IT INSIDE

YOU’RE IN HEAVEN, NOW YOU ARE HERE
BUT TO STAY HERE YOU MUST BE AWARE OF WHO YOU REALLY ARE
YOU ARE THE KEY THAT OPENS THE DOOR
SO OPEN YOUR MIND AND FIND OUT WHAT LIFE IS FOR

EVERYTHING I HAVE IS YOURS
EVERYTHING YOU SEE IS MINE
ALL THE TREASURES OF THE WORLD
ALL THE BEAUTY THAT YOU FIND
ALL YOU GOTTA DO IS CHOOSE
ALL YOU REALLY GOTTA DO IS DECIDE TO ACCEPT IT INSIDE

EVERYTHING I HAVE IS YOURS
EVERYTHING YOU SEE IS MINE
THE SUN, THE MOON AND ALL THE STARS
AND EVERY SINGLE THING THAT SHINES IN THIS UNIVERSE BELONGS TO YOU
ALL YOU REALLY GOTTA DO IS DECIDE TO ACCEPT IT
IT’S UP TO YOU MY BELOVED
ALL YOU GOTTA DO IS LET IT IN, LET IT IN
ACCEPT IT, INSIDE

Halloween: A Perfect Demonstration

In a recent conversation I learned that many spiritual faiths focus on abundance in October because in ancient times October was the time of harvest and repaying of debts before the long winter months. It's not surprising to me that the origins of abundance morphed into children knocking on doors asking neighbors to share their abundance in candy.

Do you know how much children love Halloween?? I'm pretty careful when it comes to giving my kids sugar. Candy bars are definitely a treat. So when Halloween comes around and the children are literally swimming in candy bars, life feels extra abundant. It's the one time of the year when children have the opportunity to go out and earn or ask for their good.

For the past couple of weeks, I have been struggling to make sense of fair compensation, prosperity, abundance and wants. I've learned a tremendous amount about myself. Out of determination to know the Truth, this morning I looked to the Science of Mind textbook and found some interesting insight in the meditation section. Ernest Holmes writes:

My affairs are in the hands of Him,
who guides the planets on their course,
and who causes the Sun to shine.
And I shall not be hindered in my work.
My affairs are controlled by Perfect Intelligence,
And cannot be hindered from expression.
I know that all that I do is done from the One Motive;
To express Life; and Life will be expressed
In and through me. I cannot hinder it.

Isn't trick-or-treating the perfect example of perfect work combined with Life expressing. The Universe (and maybe the candy manufacturers) so loved it's children that it created a day to express and demonstrate abundance. A time for children to express themselves in costume, go out and ask for their good. And working through the love of adults in the neighborhood, Spirit provides in abundance. With delight we give and with gratitude they receive regardless of worth, without judgement and with incredible joy. We are all blessed.

The same can be said for my good and your good. It's all expressing right now through you and through the people around you. Just open you hands or bags or buckets and receive..receive your good in all its forms...candy, money, love, you name it. Knowing that simply being and showing up is enough.

So Happy Halloween Friends! May you all experience the abundance of Spirit tonight and throughout the year.

Turbocharging the Law of Attraction

What keeps you awake at night? Are you: frustrated, fed-up and tired of the way things are now? Tired of settling for less in your personal and professional lives?  Looking for solutions that work?

Since the movie The Secret, the Law of Attraction is a hot topic. The idea is that everything in life has a vibration frequency and that Like things attract other Like things. We give off our own vibration frequency generated by the sum total of our beliefs. Based on this concept, every experience in our life is invited by our own beliefs. There are books and courses taught by people calling themselves “Law Of Attraction Experts.” They teach that all you have to do is think about the things you want and they will start to show-up in your life.

There is more to it. To effectively use this law you need more information. There is a difference between believing and positive wishing. How do you go from want or wish to Belief? Beliefs (positive or negative) are called Beliefs because you believe them to be true!

Energy goes where the attention flows. As a licensed psychotherapist, I know about self-fulfilling prophecies. For example, if someone believed that he can’t attain a certain goal, it’s unlikely he would put much effort into it. Failure could result. Another person who believed that she could succeed wouldn't quit when obstacles are encountered. She would continue until she reached her goal.

The idea that our subconscious mind is the driving force in our lives is not new. There is evidence that we create circumstances in our lives that match our expectations. We generally get what we expect to get based on our beliefs, not what we hoped or wished we believed.

When studying spiritual beliefs, I found much the same idea, with an added feature. I learned that there is a creative power greater than just our own individual minds, and that we can use it. In fact, we are constantly using it whether we are conscious of it or not. This power is known by many names. Some call it their “Higher Power”. Others call it Universal Life Force. Some call it God. Many teachings claim that this power responds to our thoughts. For example in the Christian Bible, it says “Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” (Mark 11:23-25).  Other Spiritual teachings offer similar ideas.

Here’s the key! Life is primarily an emotional experience, not an intellectual one; your feelings reflect your beliefs. If you are feeling anxious, depressed, angry, or afraid, you aren't feeling safe. You then attract people and circumstances that match feeling unsafe.

The good news is that you can learn how to take personal control of your own inner emotional state. As you experience positive emotions you automatically Turbo charge the Law of Attraction in your favor to attract and accept every good thing life can offer.

~ by Bruce R. Fredenburg, a Staff Minister at the Center For Spiritual Living in San Clemente, a Licensed Marriage, Family and Child Therapist, and a Life Coach. Fredenburg will offer a workshop on Saturday, August 24, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Center for Spiritual Living Capistrano Valley called Turbocharging the Law of Attraction, offering four steps to getting what you want plus the secret to activating the Law of Attraction. Cost is $97.

Grateful For Mothers

Yesterday was Mothers Day. Having a preteen and teen daughters, I really didn't expect much. I know that sounds terrible but if you live with teens you know exactly what I mean.

I'm happy to report I was wrong. It wasn't that my family had all this extravagant fanfare planned. On the contrary. They packed a lunch and took me to the beach. I got to spend the whole day at the beach and my girls weren't even embarrassed to be seen with me! It's amazing how I've come full circle with all these expectations from Mothers Day past. Now I totally appreciate just quality time with them. It's like finding gold it's so rare. Yes we spend time together because we live together but on Mothers Day they consciously wanted to be with me and make me happy. AHHH, I'm still basking in the joy of it all.

I also recognize that mothers aren't always biological. Many years ago when my mother exited my life I spent a few years asking the Universe for a mother. I wanted one whom would love me unconditionally, be my best friend and shopping companion, just basically be there for me. Did such a mother exist? It seems most of my friends had that. Mind you, this was before I studied Science Of Mind. On some level I guess I didn't deserve it. But that didn't stop me from asking.

Then one day I had one of those Light Bulb moments. That beautiful mother I was longing for had been right under my nose the whole time! She is my aunt Tanya. We've always been close but some magnetic force drew us together on a deeper level. My new realization hit me like a ton of bricks. She  is everything a mom should be plus more.

I want to take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude to God for proving that we are all worthy and entitled to all the Abundant Gifts the Universe has to offer. I found my mom, and she couldn't be a better grandmother and my uncle too. For my beautiful girls God has entrusted me to raise. And of course my wonderful husband who is always there for me.

I live a rich and beautiful life and I am one lucky Mother!!

Matsiko!

Matsiko in Africa means Hope. And that's just what these kids brought to our sleepy little Village by the Sea.

The Matsiko World Orphan Choir rolled into San Clemente on Thursday afternoon April 25th. Their two day stay was brief but also powerful and life changing.

Our family opened our home and hearts to three girls. One from Liberia Africa and two from Peru: Veronica (12 yrs.), Mariella  (8yrs.) and Lady (11yrs).

Every year hundreds of families and kids from orphanages walk for miles to try out to join the Matsiko Choir. The organization is called The International Children's Network. They take these kids on a year long tour of the U.S. performing. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity for these kids. The goal is to empower these children and show them what their potential in life can be. After the tour is over they return to their homes or orphanage with a higher awareness of who they are and what they can become. With sponsorship they've obtained they often go up to the university level eventually becoming doctors, engineers or have a valuable and marketable skill.

If all of the forgotten orphans and at risk children held hands they could circle the globe 13 times. That statistic staggered me. All the organizations like the ICN and world vision that dedicate themselves to helping these children only are able to affect less than 1%.

My knees went weak when I learned this. As I stared across my dinning room table at these three precious girls I suddenly felt so helpless and insignificant. When I signed up for my family to host I patted myself on the back. Little did I know that was just the tip of the iceberg. Now my brain was split wide open with this knew awareness and understanding. I became obsessed with thoughts of, "What more can we as a family do?!"

My first thought was, let's adopt one! Isn't that what we do in this country? We blaze our way into these third world countries and rescue these poor waifs and bring them back to our Land of Plenty. Thinking we've done our part for humanity. Our hearts are in the right place. I've learned another valuable way to help.

I was enlightened by David, one of the amazing men working for the organization as a chaperon. He explained to me that  we empower these children through the experience of touring with the choir and sponsorship they can then go back to their country of origin as a beacon of light and hope for other children. They will have an understanding of what it means to work and study hard to succeed and prosper in life. Becoming an inspiration to their peers. Breaking the cycle of poverty. In Essence, teaching them to fish so they can feed themselves for a lifetime, as the old saying goes.

Great!! We will sponsor one of our three girls. How do you go about the agonizing process of choosing just one? When we inquired about this we were informed which one needed it the most. Still, we didn't want to hurt the other girl's feelings. We were assured they are taught to be happy for one another and that there is enough to go around. How Science of Mind!

The sponsored one would be Lady, the 11 yr. old Peruvian girl. When the chaperon shared the news with Lady that we would be her sponsor family she ran to me and flung her arms around my waist nearly knocking me off my feet. She looked up at me with tears in her eyes and thanked me over and over again. She did the same with my husband. I now think I know what it would feel like to win the lottery. Although I bet this is a little sweeter. My heart was absolutely bursting with love for this child.

Other touching moments was watching my own girls playing and interacting with all of the kids in the choir. Noticing with joy their new awareness of the whole situation. How they helped take care of our three girls we hosted. Listening as my girls conversed in Spanish with the Peruvians and playing with abandon on the beach with these beautiful beings. I don't know who received more gifts of the heart, The Matsiko children or all of the host families.

As they left town early Saturday morning in a wake of tears our family walked away changed. We now have better awareness and the knowledge that we can make a difference in the world one child at a time.

The Matsiko Choir and all the people involved promised to return to San Clemente next year and stay longer. I passionately urge everyone to open your hearts and homes to these amazing children. One caution though, prepare to fall head over heels in love!!

Matsiko!!

Lessons for Oscar magic

While watching the Oscars last Sunday night it dawned on me that its a special night for more than one reason. Not because of the importance behind The Oscar itself but because of such a large concentration of people gathered in one place and all operating on such a high vibrational level.

When the dynamic motivational speaker, Ian Percy, spoke at our center last month he explains this. He says when you see someone making an insane amount of money doing what they are passionate about, that is called vibrating on a high level. These actors and various other movie industry people know on some conscious level that they are entitled, as everyone is, to all the ABUNDANT GIFTS the UNIVERSE has to offer. And to acknowledge these gifts they give great thanks to GOD in their acceptance speech.

I found this quote in my workbook from my BEYOND LIMITS class. It says, "consciousness is GOD, and the moment you have consciousness of a thing, consciousness creates it,whatever the "IT" may be- home, companionship, supply, employment, health or money."

I suggest we all start catching some " Oscar Magic" and start vibrating on a higher level!

Light and Life: A lesson in Abundance

Even a little light is more than enough to make a beautiful photograph
I have a confession to make. My reoccurring life lessons, up until most recently, involved prosperity and abundance. Over and over, I would experience times of financial struggle followed by prosperity followed by more struggle. "I'm done with this," I would tell myself when the dollars in my bank account dwindled.

But, we bring about what we think about, right? And my reoccurring self talk centered on "we can't afford this" or "we don't have enough money for that." And my thinking focused on the core belief that the material things I had weren't really good enough. Flipping through magazines, I saw beautiful creative interiors that looked spacious and tidy. As I scanned my own home, all I saw was mess, mismatched furniture and dated appliances. Then I got a surprising lesson on abundance from an unexpected place.

I signed up for a photography class about light and life.

In the first lesson, the instructor asked us to look for light around our homes, not outside, at all different times of the day and in all the rooms of the house. She encouraged us to trust that even a small sliver of light was enough to make a beautiful photograph.

Notice the light. Focus on the light. The light inside.

When I put my attention on the light, I began to see beautiful and abundant light throughout my home. At some time during the day, each room had enough light. And I found that less light, highlights in just the right places, was even more beautiful.

What you put your attention on grows.

Toys and laundry still littered the floor. I still found dirty dishes in the sink. But, my perspective changed. Instead of thinking about what wasn't there, I noticed what was...abundant light.

The second part of the lesson encouraged us to view a photo documentary by Darcy Padilla called The Julie Project, a 17-year story of an HIV positive, drug addicted woman. Our instructor encouraged us to look at the creative use of light and how it was used to make the viewer feel deep emotions. I clicked on the link and was changed forever.

Look for the light. There is always enough light.

It was so difficult to look at the images yet I couldn't stop myself. It was sad, hopeful then heart wrenching. Things got bad, better, then worse. But throughout the entire project, there was light, even in the darkest places.

As a whole, the lesson offered me perspective, a balance to the shiny and perfect life portrayed daily in the media. Every ounce of entitlement drained out of me. I felt nothing but gratitude for everything around me and I mean everything. I honestly felt to the core of my being that I had everything I needed and I was beyond blessed.

I am abundant and wealthy, so very, very wealthy.

My thinking changed. Now I give thanks often throughout the day for my car that works and the food in my fridge. I say thank you God for a computer and a high speed Internet connection! I mean seriously, if that's not rich what is? I have a home with people I love and who love me. I've got it good and now I can see it more clearly than ever before. And from that clarity, I experience great peace and simply enjoy the light.

If you are feeling brave today, ready for a life-changing moment or just want to see how even a little light is enough, experience The Julie Project for yourself and then come back and share your thoughts with me!

The Unexpected Income Club

Abundance is far more than money...it's about unexpected gifts from the Universe
The Tuesday night class I'm taking at the Center is called Beyond Limits. This week we are learning about abundance. Not just abundance of money but abundance of anything from health to friendships and so on.

Last week Dr. Heather challenged us to take part in an experiment called The Unexpected Income Club. For the duration of our class, about four weeks, we are to look for unexpected income or gifts. This means your income from your job is expected so it doesn't count. Money that does count for the experiment is gifted money for birthdays or other special occasions.

Now you might be wondering, what's left?! Going out for a planned lunch with a friend and your friend pays for your lunch, is one example. Totally unexpected! Or you may find a $10 bill crumpled up in the pocket of an old pair of jeans you don't wear much anymore. By now you get the picture.

As I sat in class on Tuesday I listened to many of the students recount their week of unexpected gifts and income. One person found $300 filed away among some papers in the file cabinet! Another woman got her year end bonus and it was twice the amount she usually gets equaling $6000! I didn't want to, but I had to share that i had received a 1099 tax notification on some money that was gifted to me last year. Dr. Heather's reaction was, "Oh good!" Huh? Not the answer I was looking for. Clearly I wasn't understanding this abundance thing very well. At this point I felt I should hand over my membership card for The Unexpected Income Club. So instead, I decided to reset my consciousness.

The next morning as I was walking with my girlfriend on the beach trail, I noticed her beautiful jacket. She told me she had just purchased it. Even though it was well made of wool and a nice camel color, she really didn't like it. She said she would like to give it to me. So I excitedly took it off her hands. Once home, I put it on and looked in the mirror. It finally dawned on me and I screamed," This is my unexpected gift! This S...T really does work!!"

Try the Unexpected Income Club for yourself and come back and comment. I'd love to read about it.

28 Day Prosperity Prayer

Dr. John Waterhouse
Dr. John Waterhouse
This past weekend, Centers for Spiritual Living President, John Waterhouse shared a wonderful talk at our Sunday service.

He shared a beautiful abundance prayer that we wrote about in Science of Mind Magazine in September 2012.

He challenges us to say the prayer, multiple times a day, for 28 days.  He had a story about a couple who did this after reading the original article in SOM magazine, and on the 28th day, won the California lottery.

So, here's the magical prayer:
"I, (your name), know that God is the Source of all supply and that money is God in action.  I know that my Good is here now.  I am so rich and so full that I have an abundance of money to spare and share today and always.  I know that true prosperity includes perfect health, perfect wealth, and perfect happiness.  These words, which I speak in faith, now activates universal law, and I accept the results.  I bless all that I have now, and I bless the increase.  And I know that I now prosper in every way.  I give thanks for this Good, and so it is!"

Be sure to share with us your manifestations!

Abundance; The Possibilities are Dazzling.

Prepare your mind to receive the best that life has to offer. - Ernest Holmes
